Investigation tip

How do we know if something is Paranormal or Not? Lets look at one instance where something may appear to be paranormal but in fact is not.

The human brain is a amazing organ, it provides information from the world around us via senses. Everything we sense is interpreted by electrical impulses in our brain. Light from our eyes for things we see is a electrical impulse which travels into the brain which decodes it and gives a image.

These messages can be mixed up from time to time. In mental disorders and sleep disorders. As a example Hypnogogia or Hypnogognic Hallucination. You are lying in bed trying to fall asleep.....or just waking up and you notice your grandmother standing at the foot of your bed talking to you. Your first thought is that you have just seen your dead grandmother. However looking deeper it is more probable that you have just experianced a Hypnogonic Hallucination. Your brain has not transitioned correctly to a waking state. This is why when we are presented with personal experiances during sleep, we have to remain open to this possibility.

This type of thing is not uncommon, I have had it twice and it is very real. The point is to keep in mind that our brains, while accurate can be deceived....
