in the physical realm. Personal injury is the most critical thing to
try and avoid. Walking around in the dark can be unhealthy for your
body, tripping, falling are all real dangers. And then you add spooky
factor and you are setting yourself up for failure. Falling can be
serious even fatal. The worse injury of my life was due to a fall "not
ghost hunting", I just tripped and ended up in the ER and 5 days later
getting implants in my ankle. The other thing to keep in mind is the
risk of damage to personal property. Your hunting and you knock over a
vase only to find it was filled with ashes or originated from the Ming
Dynasty. Nothing should be exposed that cant be replaced, this could
put one in a bad liability situation. Then there are the mental risks
to one self but most importantly the client. Its kinda hard to come to
tell a client they are being followed by a evil spirit! You wouldn't
want a client suicide on your resume. So I would say if that was the
case "based on the evidence and our experience we believe whatever is
causing the activity is attached to so and so". Followed by "keep in
mind that this is just our opinion based what we found". This is what
we would not say "well I'm sorry to tell you this but we believe Emily
is being followed by a demon named Baal and your family is in extreme
danger". Point being there is hazard in terms of what the investigator
tells the client and how its told. I rely on what the evidence tells
me the most and what our trusted psychic says. The evidence tells me if
there is activity and the psychic directs the activity to a possible
cause and resolution. We must have both to come to enough of a
conclusion to address the client with any theory. And in the end its
just a theory if anyone tells you something for certain then they are
not a good investigator.
